Yep! I did. But I think I might get someone asking me why I took down a vast majority of my 2021 art. It was mostly due to personal reasons (and a depressive episode), but consistency reasons also play a factor.

Unfortunately, I perma-deleted most of them aside from 2 surviving drawings, because I considered them to be my only genuine favorites from that year. I have some more 2021 art, but you're gonna have to wait for me to finish my neocities first.

You might've noticed that I've been posting art less and less over time. In fact, I hadn't even regularly posted art since earlier this month. So I feel like I'm gonna have to get this out of my chest and be blunt.

This decline has been going on since early 2023 when I've made the right decision to permanently block a certain parasocial follower from every socials we mutually share, and banned them from an old server, due to the persistent obsession with me as well as me getting tired of their own stupidity and constantly asking me burdensome questions. Mind you, this has been going on since 2021. I'm not pinning the blame on them for being the sole catalyst of this issue, since this is just a coincidence. This is just barely scratching the surface, because this is just me having enough of their shit and finally set boundaries.

Now what really grinds my gears is how the site tends to play favorites towards certain problematic artists (and the non-problematic ones are overpromoted), and even protect them unless they're pedophiles, such as zionists, racists, etc. It's why I found out that this site's super unfriendly towards smaller and lesser-known artists, in fact, I've complained about this issue since 2022. Back in November, an ex-mutual went on a long tirade that's just a zionist death threat against me all because I drew a pro-Palestine artwork. When I notified the mods, it thankfully got deleted, but they never banned them (because the site centers itself around free speech and being "neutral"), not even from any Newgrounds-associated Discord servers.

TL;DR: This site has always faciliated bigger, more popular artists that steal the spotlight, stalkers, and bigots, so it has failed me, hence why I just gave up on posting art.

Help a brother out here... I've been slowly losing followers and engagement on my works ever since earlier this year, despite the change in my artstyle. (Context: I took a small hiatus for personal reasons.) I've gone more experimental recently. So here's my early-2024 art recap.

Helloooooooo, it's me, weirdcore, or toribytez as of recently. Earlier in January I chose to take a break from posting on this site due to various factors, mostly my own mental health. So it's been quite a while since I've posted new content. But I feel a bit better now (though this isn't really saying much). I promise I'll update some parts of my profile, and post new art. I might even make an art thread and this time actually engage in it rather than abandon. For now, expect scheduled art and reposts.

UPDATE 12/7/2023: I've made a new commissions sheet, but due to the site's policy on frontpaging news posts every 2 weeks, I'll post the update sometime in a few days.

It's been quite a while since I've made a proper post. I've been currently trying to revamp my socmed presence for a more professional approach, since I don't think I'll ever get a "proper" part-time job in the real world for a while.

Here are some notable changes:

• Removed my 2021 pieces and other older works due to my own personal issues, as well as no longer wanting to associate myself with certain communities.
• Speaking of, I've also removed my BYF/DNI from my Carrd so it can appear slightly more professional. I now block randomly.
• Changed my handles on sites containing the username 'n1hiri' to 'toribytez'. I'm slowly distancing myself from the 'Nihi'/'Nihiri' name due to negative associations.

i got frontpaged 6 days ago, which is why i've unlocked that front page checkbox feature. thanks every1 for getting this to the art portal, as i've been dying to accomplish this goal at least once! it's been a pleasure to stay on this awesome site as i feel accepted here. again, thank yall for helping me boost my ego a little. :)
